The Alstor 8x8 Profi is generally supplied with the forestry crane and timber body. There is a choice of bunk options with 2 as standard. A telescopic bunk is available to move 2 bays of short wood and bolt on movable chassis bunks are also available. There is an option for a larger timber grapple/ grab from the standard .12 to the larger .16.

The option of the hydraulic aluminium tipping trailer is extremely popular.This can carry a load of up to 2 tonnes and can work with the log loader and timber body. It fits to the chassis and is operated by a remote control unit. Clam shell bucket attachments are available for the timber grapple/ grab, which enable the Alstor 8x8 to self load, carry and tip loose items, such as sand and stone.

The option for a chipper body to fit onto the timber chassis, enables the Alsor 8x8 to crane feed timber into the chipper. This allows the operator to take a chipper to areas previously unaccessable.  It is perfect for hard to reach foot paths ofr utility service lines.

Winch

There is an option for either a hydraulic or electric winch. This is fitted to the arm of the timber crane and enbles the oprerator to winch in timber that is out of crane reach. Also an electric recovery winch can be fitted to the front of the Alstor 8x8.

For work in extremeley wet areas, band tracks are available. These come with new wheels and tyres and convert the Alstor 8x8 into a tracked machine. The Tracks are suitable for both snow and forestry use and are very durable.
