The Alstor 8x8 Diesel Profi  model is fitted with a water cooled, 15.7hp Kubota diesel engine. It has a 40 amp alternator, providing ample electric power for extra lights or elctric winches. The Alstor 8x8 diesel profi model looks slightly different to the Petrol Profi model and is supplied with a stainless steel stack exhaust system.

The Alstor 8x8 Diesel Profi is available with standard roll bar protection. Giving excellent visabilty and allowing the machine into tight low areas. This is the most popular version of the Profi Diesel.

There is also a full operator cabin. This is a steel construction with ballistic plastic windows, window wipers, cab heater and side lights. As an option 2 stick electro hydraulic controls can be fitted to operate the log crane.
