The Alstor 8x8 Petrol profi model Is available in a number of options. There is a choice of Briggs & Stratton Vangard V-twin Industrial Motors. The first is a 16hp with 8 amp alternator. This is the most common engine supplied by Alstor 8x8 and has adequate power for most operations. It is operated by electronic (Key) ignition and has an addition pull start as standard.

There is also an option for the larger 18 hp engine which has a  50 amp alternator. This engine has more than enough power for the toughest jobs and also allows the machine to be fitted with higher electricity drawing items, such as extra work lights, electric winches, etc. This is electronic (key) ignition only.

The Alstor 8x8 profi is available with roll-bar protection, which is excellent when gaining access to tight and difficult areas, and gives unrestricted views of the machine. This is the most popular model sold, keeping the machine simple and agile as first designed.

There is also the option for a full operator cabin. This is a steel construction, with ballistic plastic windows, window wipers, cab heater and side lights. As an option 2 stick electro-hydraulic controls can be fitted.
